By Car: Athens – Volos:
Approximately 324 klm. ~ 3- 4 hours from Athens center to the city of Volos. Toll fare: ~20 € + Gas
Volos – Kissos: Approximately 45 klm. ~ 45 - 50 min. Recommended drive towards Hania and
then through the new road that connects the ski resort with Kissos.

By Bus: Athens - Volos

→ Go to the Central Bus Station in Athens (KTEL Liosion): 260 Liosion, Kato Patissia (nearest Metro station to the Central Bus Station KTEL is “Kato Patissia”)
Routes: Either direct to Volos: 4 hours, or through Almiros: ~4,5 hours. Ticket: ~28 €
→ Volos – Ag. Ioannis Kissos: * Please check if there are available bus routes to Kissos on the day of your arrival to Volos. Also, there is usually 1-2 routes daily, check the hours.
Routes: There are 2 routes to Kissos, one direct and one via Neochori

If you are departing from another country: 

From the Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos to Volos

 → Take the Metro (blue line) from the Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos towards Nikaia, get off at Monastiraki station. Change to the green line towards Kifisia and get off at Kato Patissia station.
→ From Kato Patissia station, walk 5 – 7 min. to the Central Bus Station in Athens (KTEL Liosion):
260 Liosion, Kato Patissia.
